Most of the historic condos in the Garden District neighborhood are on Magazine Street. This is the edge of the Garden District. Most are located between Jackson Avenue and Louisiana Avenue. There are few in the Garden District proper but not that many.
The Magazine Street Condos in this area are a great location to be near shopping, eating, and site seeing. Most are easy parking with designated spots and others have easy street parking.
I have sold a number of condos in the area. A large number of these sales were for medical students and residents as it is close to the Tulane and LSU medical school. The cost was less than the Warehouse District. of the students and parents have held on to the condos and now use them as second homes. They know the area and love the neighborhood.
Best way to show you what is in the area is to take you on a quick photo walk of the neighborhood. This way you can see and get a feel for the neighborhood.
