The Lower Garden District
New Orleans 70130

Once you go under the Mississippi River Expressway you are in the Lower Garden District. A truly historic neighborhood established between 1820 and 1840. At that time is was like living in the country.

The Lower Garden District extends to Jackson Avenue between St. Charles Avenue and the Miss. River. Lots of current activity in the real estate world.

The Lower Garden District area is a short walk to Magazine Street Shops and Eats. Great area to walk and window shop.

There are quite a few condo complexes in the area. They are going to be small complexes as most were converted from apartment buildings and old homes. It's is great area to look and see what a historic neighborhood it is.

I have sold many in the area as people were willing to look at units several blocks away as the prices were so much less and you just get more for your money.
