The Mills Row Condos were completed in 2006. They were constructed on a lot behind the Federal Fibre Mills. The five story building is solid concrete. There is one penthouse and one first floor condo. The 31 condos are most two bedroom units with exterior views and balconies. The one bedrooms overlook the courtyard.
The units have open kitchens and living areas with balcony views. All the two bedroom have garage parking and large windows. All high high ceilings and have natural light. Living areas have wood floors. Bedrooms have carpet. The bathrooms are large for this area of town.
Most of the units I have sold to clients are people who have lived thier full time. Several Medical students have purchased in the building since it is not far away for LSU and Tulane Medical Schools. Several people have purchased as second homes and live in Lafayette and Baton Rouge. They come to town fairly often.
It is an easy walk to the Convention Center and Julia Street. This is one area where you can generally find street parking.
