   The 12 units at 601 Barone are all large upscale units with large rooms, plenty of windows and lots of natural light. The condo were convereted in 2000 and were on the edge of the Warehouse District. Now they in an area with lots of changes over past 15 years.

    The Botton Floor is mostly a garage where the units each have 2 parking spots which is rare. You still get a warehouse feel with exposed brick, beams and lots of windows.

     I used to shopw these units a lot 10-12 years ago but lately there have been much fewer on the market. The units themselves are large and most residents live there full time. A lot of upgrades have been made to the individual condos by the owners.
 
    Now it is considered a great location. Walk to the Super Dome and Poydras Street. Easy walk to Lafayette Square and the St. Charles Streetcar line. Not far from the new Medical Center on Tulane and Cana Street. An easy drive or bike ride. 

   Rouses Supermarket is right down the Street as it was the first full service market in the Warehouse District.

   I still see some of the units when agents put them on our agent tour when they list them. Really impressed with the last couple I saw. Would love to sell one here when the next one comes up for sale.
