The condos at Gallery Row are named because of the Galleries on the first floor and many within walking distance of the 448 Julia Location.
The apartments were converted into condos in 2004 from apartments. The Condo association is at least 3 separate buildings. Two face Julia Street and the additions were built on the back. That is why the styles,sizes and descriptions of the units vary so much. The more popular units are the ones with street views and exposed brick with nice warehouse windows.
The condos do have high ceilings and moderate size warehouse windows. Wood floors in living areas. Smaller kitchens and decent size baths are the norm.
Most all the units have parking in the garage on the first floor or in a nearby gated lot on Magazine Street. The 48 units in the condo association. The one bedroom units are larger than most units in the Warehouse District.
There is a nice second floor courtyard, small gym on first floor off the lobby and a real nice deck area on the roof top on the rear building. It has a plastic pool and some great views of the city.
Moderate Condo fees. Most of the two bedroom units face Julia Street. Most of the units are one bedroom units.
